February Brown Bread baking day:

Today is a perfect day to put on the oven and bake, adding the warmth and aroma on this a very cold day, illuminated by the reflection of last nights snow.

I made the bread as instructed then deverted from the recipe by adding dried fruit and nuts.  I never did add the banana as I soaked the dried cherries, cranberries and raisins in boiling and add it to give this heavy brown bread a moister texture.
