Harriet and Bubbie

I had a wonderful visit with my lovely and
sweet natured 2yr. 4mo. old granddaughter, visiting from Minneapolis, MN!
We played with the toys that were her uncles and dad's.
Shayna, my westie, also loved the fun time during our
weekend visit.
A seen below, she and I have much in common,
like wearing footie PJ's on our sleep-over here at Bubbie's home.
She is looking forward to the bedroom set aside for her.

Shayna before and after a wet and muddy romp

A picture is worth a thousand!!!!!!!!words......
we have had some well needed wonderful rain, and  Shayna came showing she totally loved playing in the rain and subsequent mud it produced.   I truly was shocked when she came bounding in so very wet covered in sticky mud from head to foot!
My first activity this morning was to give Shayna a bath...and wow..
look what a beauty was under all that mess!

The RiverKeepers Event at Discovery World

The event  celebrates  the passage of the
CLEAN RIVER ACT
below is a slide from a presentation listing what this law protects!
Much hard work has restored much of the magnificent
Wisconsin waterways....
BUT
more is need need in way of financial and physical support.

Jon the MILWAUKEE RIVER KEPPERS
This is my interpretation of before and after:
The river was here both cemented and the
water shows discolorations,
 the uncemented made natural has
wonderful water quality!

High School Class semi-annual luncheon

Some of my High School Classmates gathered for Lunch in our home town of Sheboygan

I had another great time at Brisco County for lunch.  We have been meeting semi annual and more now that so many of us are "retired".

It is just so much fun being with ole' friends and no one asks how old we are!!
Today was the largest casual gathering so far since our official Class Reunion last November.
Thank you Robert Hanson for this candid photo of me checking my email, Sandy Lunde Murray checking her purse, while Jerry Prohl is just hanging around....after lunch!
