weekend doings: 7/13/14..2009

How I love the weekends filled...Saturday, thanks to David's generous gifting of tickets, we took Mike and Eudora to PRESENT MUSIC.. I did my usual sketching of the members who marvelously entertained. Sunday morning, today up to water all around,and wash a few windows when EEEKKKKK!!!when we discovered a wasps nest in the corner my the window where i look out daily while computing! Tonight, we plan to Bomb that nest, after returning from hosting folks at todays BREWERS game.
Right now I am feeding my TV addiction by getting a cable outlet installed in our back porch room!

..and so goes another nice few days that I feel things were accomplished and having fun doing them!

Summer fest season started!

We had the most beautiful evening weather of this season just in time to attend the first festival: RIVER SPLASH.
The evening started out with supper at a newly opened venue MOLLY COOL, located at 1110 N. Old World 3rd St. Molly Cool's Seafood Tavern recently opened in the space formerly occupied by high end steakhouses Kincaid's and Third Street Pier. Molly Cool's takes it down a notch with a much more casual, southern style atmosphere, making it a affordable choice with great food choices, and great tasting food.

After a great meal, off we went to check out the many stages of a variety of music, which enticed us to dance!

My photographer friend Linda just happened by and snapped us enjoying the evening out……
I am looking forward to being out and about at the many festive- festivals around town.

Docent training field trip !

today my docent training class went to a local gallery that featured "oursider" art..very interesting. the owner/collector finds works in europe mainly!

hope the rest of the week is as interesting and fun!

weekend beside yard stuff!

weekend: off to port washington, wi. street fair..! beautiful day to be out and about with my girl friend, then off to hurling match and watched #3 son's team beat #1 son's team!
