You asked me: what do I believe

I believe we must always remember our choices have consequence
beyond what we want for ourselves,
.... so CHOOSE WISELY!

YOU ASK ME: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE, LAEH, AND I ANSWER:

I have learned thru my study of Reform Judaism,

to glorify the choices people make,

As long as those choices are made with

respect for oneself and for others.

I do not declare that a person is a good by the rituals they may or may not practice.

The Prophets encouraged us to:

“reason together”,

“to do justly,

to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”,

“let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor”,

offer “peace to those who are near, and to those who are far..”.

These words spoken by our Prophets underscore what I believe is the

essence of my belief system: Judaism.

I respect both the integrity of all faiths, and those people with whom I interact,

with ever abiding hope that they to make better choices that respect themselves and others!

My docenting experiences:

the tours that i lead at the art museum are going well.

i did a "symphony" tour which means kids where to hear a concert. the PAC closed because of a problem.

i had recorded the music from internet and thus could play a few bars and have kids relate it to the art

we stood in front in front of each piece.

it was SO MUCH FUN!

LOVE TECHNOLOGY!

MODEL PASSOVER SEDER 2011

MODEL PASSOVER SEDER ON
April 4 at Congregation Shalom .

Rabbi Shapiro along with the Social Action Committee
(that I am a volunteer),
facilitated this over 60 at an educational
MODEL SEDER
for
FUTURE MILWAUKEE students from Marquette University
(a unique opportunity for participants to improve leadership skills
and become more involved in the community),
and members of the
Catholic/Jewish Conference

(The Catholic-Jewish Conference is a program of the Ecumenical and Interfaith Office of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, and the Wisconsin Council of Rabbis).

Each year that I have participated has been a moving experience.
we share our traditions and get to have conversations with a vary broad and diverse group who come away with a more informed view of Judaism.
Table discussions are lively and enlightening we all have left saying, as new connections are made.

April 3rd and it hailed

Today: Windy with rain and thunderstorms.
A few storms rolled through and were severe.
High about 46F., with winds SE at 25 to 35 mph.
and.... HAIL!
The yard was covered in water and then medium sized marbles of ice...
and then there was light! what a visual wonder.
