AH... love being a suburban farming!

I have been happily redesigning and configuring the areas near my home to include some flowering species and textures.

With help, I created new beds that are awaiting the arrival of some plantings such as bush roses, multi-colored yucca's, native grass, and varying colors of clematis.
Seedlings of sunflowers and cone-flowers planted, also.

Now I am just having to add extra soil and put in the plants, which will arrive in a few weeks, just in time for the appropriate weather to arrive, too!
Will again plant my barrel-veggie-garden with green and red peppers, various tomato varieties and a zucchine for sure.

ART IN BLOOM at Milwaukee Art Museum
from April 11-14, 2013.
I was at the museum at 7 in the morning to assist florists who came to set up their displays,
then
I gave tours to two groups:
one for over a two hour tour for a Chicago Hadassah group that I gave tours to before. it was a delight to know many returning guests.
The other was Milwaukee group of friends of 9.

I was helpful until 7 at night.  Wearing my docent identification and my MAM GARDEN CLUB apron identified me to answer questions and take people to places also.
I encountered and had wonderful conversations with many interesting and interested museum guests.
