i feel so lucky to have tom doing some cooking when time allows. today was a perfect end to a day of rest. i just watched as supper of yummy burgers, salad,fruit all came to me, but for the fried mushrooms and onion topping i made.
the brewers won, madison golfer stricker won so it was a good day for my favorites.
the rain just came again, no need to water the barrel garden or hanging plants tomorrow morning.
second week of second session of summer teaching and enjoying the students who are so interested in the making of art and doing their personal best. it is very relaxing to plan new things and watch how fast they catch on to choices for the day. i have tons of ideas and know i will run out of time not techniques, compositions or projects i demonstrate.
i started a work, a gift for stephen and christina that is challenging but love being engaged in something as personal as this mixed media art piece. when done will blog!
