while students paint...so do i!

as you see, i am fast at painting! did this HUGE painting of the subject picked and done for a friend in about 4-5 hours! great fun!
summer school is always wonderful time to teach others and do art for myself and family or friend/and friends. like doing arts and crafts for a person other than for myself. just a few more days of summer school..then ??????????????

hello after some time!

I have been busy teaching summer school, with the same lovely results from my students. when not i have been getting together with friends. here is Lisa and Ellen and I in Madison at the art fair on square. looking forward to other events..

summerfest 2009/ wednesday night with willy nelson/bob dylan

We had no large screens showing the stage shows as dylan forbad any pictures or large screen to be used. i did get this shot of willy nelson and his harmonica player! never cold see dylan as really too dark by then...they never were on stage at the same time, which was too bad. on the whole, it was my least favorite summerfest marcus theatre concert! But love the food at the fest!!!

these are some more things from session a at usm: i taught three classes 1. interior design and model building, an acrylic panting class and a sketching painting class.
Each class is about 55 minuets ( 15 minutes for clean-up and demos). the students are really nice and use there time for art which is such a pleasure!

Here i am at my graduation from a year long study to be a dart museum docent...we had to present ourselves and i did so highlighting that i am like many artist with unpronouncable when read from their identification tags!

I got a good reponse from the 200 in attendance! it was a beautiful event!
